Moonlight Door Knocking in Long Branch!

Posted by brandnuheavy on December 9, 2010

Long Branch Door Knockers 12-6-2010

Members of the Long Branch Neighbor Corps (and friends) door knocked at Flower Branch apartments in Silver Spring on both Saturday and Monday.

We knocked on more than 240 doors and talked to 65 residents! Included in our conversations with residents was an invitation to join us for a Neighbors Exchange on Thursday, December 9th at the TESS Center.

Thursday’s Neighbors Exchange will provide space to receive and share information on the pressing issues that residents identified (employment, legal assistance, health care). The Exchange will also provide a great opportunity for neighbors from the sprawling apartment complex to get to know each other.

Check back in on this blog to hear about what happens at Thursday’s Exchange!
