Taste of Wheaton: Yum!

The Neighbors Campaign was out in full force on Sunday at the Taste of Wheaton. Between the twenty of us, we talked to over 200 neighbors (those count as door knocks!) and invited them to our special Tuesdays Together this week — we’ll be joined by attorneys to answer questions about visas, work permits and citizenship.

Luis thought of the great idea to have everyone show us on a map where they are from. That was a big hit and we met Wheaton residents from all over the world — including American Samoa, Palestine and Guyana!

We also asked people to share a time they had helped (or been helped by) a neighbor. Check out Anh and Martin with all the post its:

Thanks to all the Neighbors Campaign friends that came out to spread the word about Tuesdays Together and emergency services!
