Winexburg Manor = Mission Accomplished

Posted by meganmoriarty on May 10, 2010

Last Saturday afternoon the group above knocked on over 150 doors at the Winexburg Manor Apartments, right down the street from Catholic Charities. This was the culmination of a week of door knocking during which 28 door knockers reached out to over 600 families at Winexburg. The majority of these door knockers are community members that received a door knock themselves and are now part of our core group at Tuesdays Together. For example, Marlene found a door hanger at her apartment last week, came to Tuesdays Together and has since come door knocking with us twice.

As our fiscal year winds down (only 2 months left), we have 400 more door knocks left to complete to meet our goal of 3,500. Do you want to help us reach our goal?
