Mutual Support, taking the next step.

Tuesdays Together 04/27/10 Group

Here we are once again supporting each other and building stronger relationships between our neighbors in Wheaton.

Our ESOL classes with Professors Alpha and Julio are stronger than ever and at the same time  empowering our neighbors to communicate in their neighborhoods.

Mutual Support time.

Mutual support time like always was great,  the group all agreed on possible cooking, child care  and home improvement classes for future Tuesdays Together.

Jobs, healthcare, immigration questions and volunteer opportunities were support requested and offered by our neighbors. We are implementing a job chart list to follow up on the jobs our neighbors are looking and a way to track the process of finding jobs.

We have a new neighbor in our Tuesdays Together her name is Marlene, she found a neighbors campaign door knocking hanger on her door and know she participated in mutual support and went door knocking with us and she is loving it.

This is the power of our neighbors supporting each other!

See you Tuesday.
