Beyond rum cake

Posted by anhptran on March 1, 2010

Elyssa (in blue sweater), a participant in Asset Allies, cried after session #2. However, after last week’s session #3, she remarked that she felt much more positive. Maybe the orange tree and expansive root poster added positive energy for her, or the allies in the room helped put her on a path closer to empowerment.

With rum cake from Negril, our group reclaimed control of our pieces of cake. Because 50% of our cake was already allocated to necessities, we saved the rest of the cake for ourselves.  The cake was a metaphor for our larger goal wheel and jars money management tool, based on T. Harv Eker.

Together, we are investing in ourselves, learning tools and changing habits to build wealth.

How do you create change?
