The Art of Door Knocking and Outreach

Posted by frankieblackburn on April 14, 2009

We continue to reflect and refine our strategy for holding productive and engaging conversations when we first meet someone – particularly while knocking on their door. See the video clip of Rev. Tim Warner – below – talking about the importance of being authentic as you greet and engage someone for the first time.

We also thought you might like to see a video clip of our friend Denis Tobar, as he demonstrates the importance of using radio announcements to reach the Latino communities. Denis is a long time radio announcer and activist in the Latino community and owns the Gaithersburg restaurant named Antojitos; he is a door knocker too and very excited about the Neighbors Campaign.
