Pilot Door Knocking in Long Branch

Posted by meganmoriarty on February 5, 2009

During January, IMPACT staff and partners conducted 70 door knocks in apartment communities in Long Branch. We found residents willing to share their stories and ready to join this campaign to help their neighbors!

Of the residents we spoke with, over half had either lost their jobs or were working less than they had been 6 months ago. Their top concerns were employment and the cost of living — especially the cost of housing, groceries, health care and transportation.

Watch a news clip featuring a neighbor we met.
