Last Tuesday, Mary brought her sister-in-law, Violet to join the circle. The group asked Violet to introduce herself and tell us about her work in Kenya. Violet works with victims of domestic violence in Kenya, and was visiting for a few weeks. For our gathering, Mary and Violet made samosas to share with everyone.
After some storytelling, we listened to Michael Jackson, and added new connections we made over the last weeks to our network maps. Ade added her connections volunteering for the governor’s campaign, and added her new connection to Violet. The group decided to bring a new visitor to join the circle next week.
